Description
Summary : The Business Development Manager ensures safety compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations while expanding and nurturing relationships with customers in the Downstream and Midstream Energy Market through Airgas Nitrogen Services.
Key responsibilities include driving maximum product consumption, implementing effective pricing strategies, and optimizing service costs.
The position requires developing strategic relationships with major clients, documenting cost savings, and promoting sales effectiveness.
Expand and nurture relationships with new and existing customers in the Downstream and Midstream Energy Market.
Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their business needs and objectives to enhance loyalty and retention.
Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups with customers to assess their satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
Develop and execute strategies to increase the consumption of Airgas nitrogen services among existing customers while identifying opportunities to attract new clients.
Analyze customer usage patterns and industry trends to forecast demand and tailor service offerings accordingly.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that promote the benefits of nitrogen services, emphasizing efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to understand their needs, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
Develop and implement sales plans and initiatives tailored to the needs of each region, maximizing market penetration and revenue growth.
Regularly assess team performance through metrics and KPIs, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of sales targets.
Equip sales teams to effectively communicate the unique value propositions of Pump Nitrogen Services, emphasizing benefits such as efficiency, safety, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least three years experience in account management, business development or business to business sales required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred
Industrial gas experience preferred
Previous project management experience preferred
