Job Description :
- We are seeking an experienced Sensor Testing Technician to join our team in Providence, RI.
- This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing sensors used in the manufacturing of lasers. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electromechanical systems, with hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving issues with components such as wires, harnesses, motors, gears, and other mechanical parts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair sensors used in laser manufacturing.
- Perform electromechanical testing, including working with wires, harnesses, motors, gears, and various mechanical components.
- Utilize scopes, meters, cameras, and other testing devices to diagnose and resolve sensor issues.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of sensors in the manufacturing process.
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical testing and troubleshooting, but candidates with extensive experience will also be considered.
- Hands-on experience with testing devices, including scopes, meters, and cameras.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
