Key Responsibilities :

Carry out experiments to validate or reject different hypotheses under specific conditions using precise scientific methodologies.

Conduct laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols, observe the outcomes, and analyze the results.

Ensure hazardous materials and chemical substances are properly stored, organized, and handled according to safety protocols.

Ensure supplies used within experiments are prepared and cleaned prior to use.

Manage inventory of lab, maintaining and ordering supplies as needed.

Document results and data with precision.

Qualifications :

A bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, or related field is preferred, or currently working toward such degree.

Experience working as a Lab Technician or related position for 1-2 years, particularly in an environment where harmful chemicals may be present.

An individual of high character and integrity.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and associated Microsoft applications.

Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to details as it relates to data management.

Analytical, with experience interpreting and analyzing data.

Willing and capable of working safely in an environment with hazardous materials.

Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Employment type : Contract to Hire

Compensation : $22-23 / hr

Work hours : 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm with a 1 hour lunch
