Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Tax Director / Senior Tax Manager (Hybrid), your core responsibilities will include :

1. Overseeing and managing all tax planning and compliance issues, ensuring we meet all legal and regulatory requirements.

2. Providing strategic tax advice to our high net worth and ultra high net worth clients, helping them to optimize their financial position.

3. Efficiently reviewing engagement work papers and returns for HNW clients, including Estate, S-Corp, Gift, Trust, and Partnership returns.

4. Working closely with other members of the financial team to develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.

5. Staying up-to-date with the latest changes in tax law and regulations, and ensuring these are effectively communicated to the team and our clients.

6. Leading and mentoring junior staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Tax Director / Senior Tax Manager (Hybrid) position will have :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on tax accounting, tax law, tax planning, and tax compliance.

3. Proven experience working with high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.

4. Excellent knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to translate complex tax concepts into understandable advice for our clients.

5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
