HiFyve is hiring a Production Supervisorin the manufacturing industry in Rolla, MO!
Salary : $55,000-$70,000
Shift : Flexible to work Day Shift and Night Shift (8am-8pm and 8pm-8am)
Location : Rolla, MO (Relocation Assistance Offered)
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 35+ hourly associates with varying levels of experience and education.
- Develop and coach individuals and the team to solve operational issues and achieve performance goals.
- Manage area-specific production processes and improvement activities, including meeting daily production goals and executing planned improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and housekeeping policies.
- Recommend and implement major process or procedure changes to improve production.
- Monitor the production process and take corrective measures as needed.
- Train workers to adequately perform assigned tasks and ensure equipment safety.
- Encourage and aid in the development of employees.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership and change management skills
- Proven Continuous Improvement experience (CI)
- Firm understanding of safety regulations including OSHA, SARA, and HAZWOPER
- Ability to complete written and verbal reports legibly and accurately
- Experience in the packaging and / or pulp and paper industry is preferred
- Experience with automation is preferred
