We are now hiring a Clinical Director to lead our center's clinical operations and work with behaviorally challenged children 3 to 12 years old in our Day Treatment Program.

Who are we : InspireKids is a Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio . We welcome children aged 3 to 12 who encounter difficulties such as irregular behaviors, learning delays, motor skills challenges, and limited communication, leading to frustration.

We offer Day Treatment and After School IOP programs in our state-of-the-art center located in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Clinical Director of our Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic is a leadership role responsible for developing daily programming and overseeing all clinical services provided within the PHP / Day Treatment clinic.

This position includes managing clinical and administrative staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans and programs aimed at improving children's behavioral health, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to pediatric patients, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Accountable for leading a culture that focuses on our mission to empower young minds, fostering resilience and self-confidence, to help them thrive both in school and in life.

Regularly review and recommend changes in program services to ensure patients are being provided excellent care and to ensure regulatory compliance.

Assist with the implementation and monitoring of compliance with the state and regulatory agencies as well as Joint Commission accreditation standards and ethical guidelines.

Recruit, hire, supervise, train, and evaluate all clinical staff.

Provide clinical consultations with patients and their families in regard to participation, behavior issues, or other clinical concerns.

Assess to ensure patients are at the most appropriate level of care. If a higher level of care is needed, refer a client.

Provide education and resources to families to help them support their children’s behavioral health needs.

Available by phone or in-person for crisis management, assessment of self-harm, or referral to a higher level of care to determine appropriate clinical recommendations.

Review clinical staff documentation, participate in training with compliance documentation, and sign off as supervisor for completed documentation.

Communicate regularly and effectively with other members of the management team.

Participate in annual staff reviews.

Fill in for any absent staff as needed.

Perform intake sessions and document accordingly.

Participate in Performance improvement meetings and data collection.

Provide regular clinical supervision to staff through individual and group sessions.

Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators related to client outcomes.

Facilitate ongoing professional development of staff.

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and other healthcare providers to enhance service delivery and support for patients.

Represent the clinic at community events, professional meetings, and other forums to promote its services and mission.

Assist in the management of the budget, ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently.

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Uphold and enforce ethical standards and confidentiality requirements in all clinical practices and interactions.

Education : Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Mental Health Counseling;

specialized training in trauma, CBT, children with autism, etc. is a plus.

Experience : A minimum of 5 years experience in mental health. A minimum of 2 years of management experience, with Quality Improvement, and accreditation standards

Licensure : LICDC-S, LISW, and similar certification / licensure to be considered. CPR Certification is Required.

Proficient computer skills including EHR, CRM, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to speak, read, and write English & Spanish (Preferred).

Current driver’s license and car

Knowledge of accreditation standards.

Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline.

Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.

Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.

Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.

Knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention Standards.
