Kanki Home of Steaks and Sushi is seeking talented and enthusiastic Dining Servers to join our team. As a Dining Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
With our friendly staff and entertaining teppan grills, we offer more than just a meal - it's a delicious and fun-filled show!
Responsibilities :
- Provide a welcoming service to guests, and create memorable guest experiences.
- Maintain current knowledge of all food and beverage menus.
- Guide guests through all menu questions and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Perform accurate cash / credit handling and POS procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain and ensure the overall cleanliness of the assigned station.
- Assist in nightly side work.
What we need from you :
- Great customer service skills and communication skills with a big smile. Strong multitasking abilities.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 35lbs.
- Reliable transportation, phone, and e-mail.
- Weekend availability is a Non-negotiable.

- NO late nights. We close at 9 : 00 PM Weekdays and 9 : 30 Weekends. You can still have a life!

THE KANKI EXPERIENCE
When you visit of our Raleigh-Durham restaurants, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff and seated at a large table surrounding one of our teppan grills.
Next, you’ll choose drinks, starters, sushi, hibachi and more from our extensive menu. All teppanyaki dishes will be made-to-order, and our chefs will prepare your hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon or scallops, along with rice and a selection of veggies, right in front of your eyes.
Of course, half of the fun is watching our chefs as they expertly chop, dice and cook your meal with the flip of a knife, providing mealtime entertainment your whole table is sure to enjoy!
