MMS Group is seeking an experienced Porter / Groundskeeper for two residential buildings located in Brooklyn, NY.

Schedule : Sunday to Thursday 1pm to 9 : 30pm

Your duties and responsibilities :

• Daily cleaning of all common areas; dust, sweep, wet mop, vacuum, and empty garbage
• Report all notable concerns such as vandalism, missing light bulbs or fixtures, and missing smoke detectors or extinguishers in the common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Keep the property and parking lots in a neat and orderly manner; check property throughout the day
• Other duties associated with the maintenance of the grounds as assigned by the Property Manager and / or Maintenance Supervisor

• Have previous experience with porter / housekeeper / custodial / gardening / groundskeeping duties
• Have effective communication and problem-solving skills

Job must-haves :

• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying
• Adherence to work-safety and risk management programs
• Professional and reliable
