Job Description Summary The School of Sciences & Humanities at Wentworth Institute of Technology seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach College Physics and Engineering Physics I & II for the Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters.
Spring classes begin in January; Summer courses begin in May. The adjunct faculty member is responsible for a combination of these tasks depending on the particular teaching assignment : 1.
Preparing a syllabus for the course and distributing the syllabus to the students, based on recommendation of the School of Sciences and Humanities and the provost office2.
Teaching assigned physics lecture and / or lab courses in collaboration with the course coordinator and lab technician3.
Preparing quizzes, labs and exams as directed by course coordinator.4. Grading assignments and exams in a timely manner5.
Meeting students during office hours outside of class as required.
