Hamilton Connections is looking for candidates for a CNC machinist position at a manufacturing company in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 7 : 30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $20-$25 an hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities :
- Operate HAAS and FRYER CNC mills to produce parts
- Conduct QC inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Oversee / operate multiple machines
- Complete preventive maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Notify supervisors if there are any problems with the machine
- Read and interpret prints, plans, sketches and shop drawings
- Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality
- Respond to quick turnaround orders
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
- 3 years or more of CNC set-up and operating experience
- Experience with HAAS and FRYER CNC mills
- Ability to use micrometer, calipers and other measuring tools
- Good attitude and willing to learn
- Perform well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Willing to help in other manufacturing areas when needed
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting
