Job description
Nexus Recovery Center is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join the team!
Reporting to the Detox Nurse Manager, this person is responsible for supervising detoxification of clients admitted, monitoring client self-administration of medication and medical concerns;
arranging for client medical care; managing and implementing infection control policies and procedures; supervising client activities and maintains the program schedule, house rules and functioning of the therapeutic community and being responsible for accurate, effective and efficient medication room processes.
Psychiatric experience is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS :
Texas LVN license - Valid and Current .
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year certificate from college or technical school required;
2 yr. College degree preferred.
Minimum of six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Substance Use Disorder issues required.
Behavioral Healthcare experience is a plus!
