Your role will include designing, leading and driving tactical plans and developing and implementing multi-business programs, all to ensure delivery of the right product to the right place at the right price.

Leading managers, supervisors, employees and resources, you'll direct the implementation of tactical business plans, programs and projects, while also delivering solutions that drive continuous process improvement all to ensure delivery of the right product to the right place at the right price.

Responsibilities :

Leads employees responsible for the management of product movement, including delivering the right product to the right place at the right time for the right price.

• Key activities include : physical distribution, which includes the movement and storage of finished goods, supplies and parts from manufacturing plants to warehouses to customers (typically includes warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and localization);
• logistics network development / optimization which includes network design, reverse logistics, modeling, duty elimination / reduction, order fulfillment cycle time management, cost analysis, system design;

logistic services procurement, which includes contract management; supply chain management, postponement procurement, and order management.

Responsible for meeting cost, order fulfillment and customer requirement / satisfaction objectives for a product line, an entity, a region or a group / .

Develops all logistics processes and strategies (trade compliance, transportation, physical distribution, logistics services procurement, and / or logistics network development / optimization) for Agilent products, supplies and / or parts from manufacturing entities / partners to customers.

May direct outsourced operations such as warehousing and distribution, including negotiating service level agreements to ensure fulfillment of cost objectives, specified deliverables, and performance and / or business objectives.

May lead global trade including overseeing import / export control and administration within government rules and regulations, assurance of legal compliance and appropriate licensing for shipments, and working with government organizations for negotiations, rules interpretations, product certifications and audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience

1+ years experience formally or informally leading people, projects and / or programs for entry to this level

10+ years' experience that includes an in-depth understanding of Logistics operations, purchasing, inventory management and subject matter SAP experience required, of which 5+ years will be relevant experience at first level management

Strong management ability to work in a dynamic and progressive environment; lead, motivate and organize a diverse, cross-functional group with constantly changing demands

Experience managing critical projects required and balance and prioritize multiple assignments and meet established deadlines

Must possess excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking, with a high level of energy and self-motivation

Should have excellent technical writing ability, strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong knowledge and understanding of software packages and technologies, specifically Microsoft Office

Ability to work in a team environment (as well as independently) and set goals

Ability to develop business relationships with internal and external customers

Ability to proactively identify problems and take the correct course of action

Ability to provide creative solutions to business problems and apply critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve complex problems
