Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a Director of Foodservice Sales to join our team! In this role, you will lead a direct team combined with broker partners across a vast and diverse market that includes Hospitality, Healthcare, Education, B&I, Cash & Carry, Airline and Distribution segments.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure effective execution. Additionally, you will provide insight into market trends and direct strategies for sustained growth.
A Day in the Life...
Manage team structured to maximize coverage and performance across distribution, brokers, GPOs, and chains.
Set annual business objectives and lead sales team execution against business plan (distribution, promotion, pricing), track results vs objectives;
communicate competitive activity and customer / category business trends.
Collaborate with Sales Strategy & Commercializationalong with Marketing teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies and products to deliver sustained channel growth.
Direct broker leadership on annual resource needs, go to market strategies and targets.
Collaborate with Revenue Management to develop and align on practices that deliver the annual operating volume, revenue, and profit plan.
Lead sales input in monthly Demand Planning meetings, providing insights into new distribution and trends to influence production quantity and timing, to maximize customer fill rates.
Influence senior management with insights, industry, and competitive trends to secure appropriate support and resources to deliver business plans.
Accountable for financial management, including trade budgets, consumer budgets, trade deductions, product unsaleables, returns, and T&E budgets. (Personal and team).
Connect and ensure alignment with Ocean Spray Ingredients business counterpart.
What We Are Looking For :
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry
- Experience working directly with key customers and distributors in foodservicesectors
- Experience leadingand developing a high-performing team
- Critical thinker, innovative, driven and highly organized
Education :
Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
