Robert Half is offering a contract employment opportunity for a remote Litigation Associate Attorney (located in Utah or Colorado) for one of our clients.
The individual will be part of a team that focuses on civil litigation, specifically working with Microsoft Word and handling motions.
Responsibilities :
- Handle and process civil litigation cases with accuracy and efficiency
- Utilize Microsoft Word to prepare, review, and revise legal documents and correspondences
- Draft, file, and argue motions in court as part of the litigation process
- Collaborate with the legal team to strategize and develop case theories
- Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation
- Maintain and update client records to ensure accuracy
- Monitor and manage client cases, ensuring all necessary actions are taken promptly
- Handle client inquiries, providing accurate and timely information
- Evaluate and manage potential risks and opportunities in litigation cases
- Uphold the standards of the legal profession through ethical conduct and professionalism.
Requirements :
- Must hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing
- Must be located in CO or UT
- Demonstrable experience in Civil Litigation
- Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions
- Strong research and report-writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of professional ethics and integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
