POSITION TITLE : Maintenance Technician
REPORTS TO : Maintenance Manager
JOB SUMMARY :
Provide timely and effective repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal operation of all equipment used in operations..
Responsibilities :
- Support Manufacturing by assisting with the setup and operation of all equipment used in production.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues by observing and resolving issues.
- Control downtime by informing production workers of repairs and maintenance expected schedules.
- Knowledgeable in correct wiring techniques with motors, starters and overloads.
- Knowledgeable in troubleshooting bearings, belts, sheaves, sprockets, chains and gear reducers and proper alignment of these drive devices.
- Assisting with maintaining parts and supplies inventories required for timely repairs by checking stock, transacting usage and receipt of parts, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipts.
- Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Remove and replace defective parts or adjust control instruments.
- Use hand and power tools to fabricate, disassemble and assemble equipment.
- Lubricate and clean parts.
- Weld, perform sheet metal work and employ basic shop floor skills (drill press, grinder, and other tools).
- Complete preventive maintenance of equipment with proper documentation and record keeping.
- Assist in training equipment operators as needed.
- Conserve maintenance resources by wisely using parts and supplies inventory.
- Comply with Canyonside Labs, LLC's Quality System, Policies and Procedures.
COMPETENCIES :
- Practice safe work habits.
- Proficient in electro mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Experienced in PLC controllers and process instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret all forms of equipment documentation.
- Team Player with ability to handle fast paced and changing responsibilities and ability to fulfill obligations.
- Ability to work with a wide range of people including internal customers, all levels of management, and vendors.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness of job completion.
- Analytical and logical thinker to troubleshoot and address problems.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive and exemplary customer service attitude.
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Ensure facility maintains cGMP standards
- Proficient on the computer.
- Familiar with CMMS systems
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 3 years of experience working with industrial equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented..
- Ability to quickly diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical problems..
- Ability to identify and source a wide variety of mechanical components.
WORK LOCATION : Twin Falls, Idaho

HOURS :
- Monday-Friday 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm or Monday-Thursday 6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
- Weekend / on-call responsibilities during busy season, shared with other mechanics.
PAY :
$20.00 - 25.00 per hour DOE
