Summary : Seeking an EHS Engineer I to design and lead EHS operational strategies and process improvements.

Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite
Substantial understanding and knowledge of EPA, OSHA, local and federal regulations
Substantial understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work
Preferred Skills :
Experience with air permitting, wastewater solutions, ergonomics, and / or hazardous materials
Job Responsibilities :
Evaluate environmental / safety needs; propose options and implementation plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for EHS compliance processes
Provide EHS expertise for new processes / products / technologies
Research, analyze, and create non-routine reports
Investigate EHS incidents; recommend corrective / preventive measures
Develop / revise specialized / complex EHS training programs; may deliver training
Liaise with government agencies for EHS managers as assigned
Conduct internal inspections / audits for regulatory compliance guidance
Act as back-up emergency incident commander or safety officer as required
Pay Details : $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
