Responsibilities
- Understands and practices Quality System Requirements & Documentation (i.e. verification and disposition procedures, and / or instructions and forms required as part of the process).
- Liaison with customers and regulatory authority representatives.
- Ensure production and purchasing activities are maintained to ISO 9001, AS9100 and Customer requirements.
- Create PFMEA / PPAP documentation.
- Involved in corrective action process.
- Maintain required production levels and delivery performance of product.
- Maintain supplier portal and process commitments for purchase orders.
- Set up jobs in the operating system (Jobboss) to support the required production levels of the long-term agreement.
- Initiate and perform contract review.
- Monitor on-time delivery performance.
- Provide adequate resources and infrastructure for all activities within the company.
- Ensure adequate communication of all activities throughout the organization and to suppliers, including Customer requirements.
- Resolve any questions regarding capability, capacity, or other resource availability in regard to contract review.
- Conduct periodic organization meetings.
- Ensure appropriate training is provided and documented for all production personnel and performance requirements are met.
- Assess training needs for each employee upon hiring and perform periodic review of personnel performance.
- Review maintenance logs as an indicator of repair status and initiate corrective action as warranted.
- Ensure pre-production review, evaluation, process engineering, and documentation is complete prior to initiating manufacturing operations.
- Ensure customer property is stored and preserved to prevent damage and deterioration.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a management capacity
- 5+ years experience in a machining / manufacturing environment
- Good oral and written communication skills, computer literate
- Must be motivated to work effectively without supervision and possess a good knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machine math
- Must be a US citizen due to ITAR requirements.
