Production Planner
North Shore, LA

JOB SUMMARY
The production planner will manage the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure the company meets all deadlines in addition to other responsibilities assigned by ACRs Senior Director of Operations.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Must possess the ability to plan short- and long-term production schedule based on customer orders and desired inventory levels.
- Collaboration between manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping are essential to ensure production schedules meet critical deadlines.
- Review production processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Consolidate multiple reports into a by order shipment projection.
- The ability to extract and compile data from multiple systems / sources, analyze data and then make recommendations for action.
- Organize and Provide Daily Production Forms and release labels.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years production scheduling experience in related industry.
- Ability to multitask and provide quick responses to production problems.
- Generating reports and schedules requiring the use of software.
- Ability to create and understand reports to make production decisions.
- A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Manufacturing / Production industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma preferred

2. Do you have At least 5 years of production planner experience within a manufacturing environment.
3. Do you have Excellent computer skills, Expert at MS Excel, good math skills
4. Are you be very good at extracting and compiling data from multiple systems / sources, analyze data, and then make recommendations for action.
5. Are you Currently pulling data from Sage, Microsoft Power BI, and other older databases.
6. This company will be changing systems in the near future so the best candidate will have top computer skills and be able to learn new systems quickly.
7. The biggest challenge of the job is the different systems the candidate will use to extract data.
8. Do you have Manufacturing / Production industry experience preferred
