Technical Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ.

This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Establish the target outcomes in partnership with the stakeholders and project leaders
• Work with technical leads and architects to develop process documents for large scale projects
• Prepare project deliverables and deliver documentation on time
• Manage project schedule and budget to make sure resources are allocated properly to each project
• Coordinate and facilitate the program routines for example : project kick off, status reviews, stakeholder / steerco meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations
• Promote / facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve the target outcomes and timeline
• Facilitate dependency management / risk management / impediment removal
• Responsible to provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks / issues, and schedule
• Ensure the execution is aligned with target outcomes by working with the sponsor / stakeholders
• Track the success metrics and reviews performance with stakeholders and leadership
• Manage the financials and assists with resource planning for the program
• Provide input to define / improve the Change Management

Requirements :

• At least 5 years of experience of Project management experience tools and capabilities
• Background in technology (development or database technologies required)
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Jira
• Able to work independently and deliver projects on schedule
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality / timeline
• Experienced with project schedules, timelines, and resource management

Desired skills :

Prior financial client experience
