Safely and effectively perform preventative maintenance in all areas of plant, both internal and external to the facility.
This will include, but not limited to, electrical, electronic, PLC programming, in-depth troubleshooting, repair, and completing maintenance work orders.
Continually improve machine reliability and operational readiness through quality craftsmanship.
Read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and identify operation of system
Install, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems
Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, ammeters
Troubleshoot 24V analog and digital circuitry, electric motors and identify failures in the plant
Set up and troubleshoot VFDs
Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify and repair mechanical malfunctions
Use shop equipment, such as welder, mill, etc., to manufacture or repair mechanical components
Recommend changes in installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance
Monitor installed equipment to identify potential failures
Communicate actions taken to repair the machine to operator and / or manager
Communicate effectively with team members, corporate engineering, vendors, and internal customers
Demonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and good housekeeping standards
