About the job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for all operational management of the day to day functions of the Property Management Department.
The focus of the job is to manage all aspects pertaining to the client's property. The PM is the liaison between the tenants / clients and the building ownership / management regarding maintenance and other issues.
The PM needs to demonstrate regular use of good judgement and discretion to solve problems and / or issues, serve as the liaison in the buildings and maintain a high level of tenant / client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
1. Foster and maintain good working relationships with our Clients.
2. Respond to drop-in, telephone, internet and email facilities service requests.
3. Assure the effective functioning of the facilities to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and maintain the assets of the firm by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes.
4. Direct staff and oversee their schedules and upkeep of equipment and supplies.
5. Determine necessary repairs and schedule same. Assist in bidding and supervise work.
6. Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
7. Negotiate with outside vendors for supplies, repairs and other services while maintaining good vendor business relationships.
8. Assist with departmental organization and furniture utilization including intra-office moves.
9. Assist in bidding and supervising capital improvements as needed.
10. Respond to after hours emergencies as needed.
11. Maintain good computer skills and utilize technology to effectively complete duties.
12. Prepare and administer facilities operating budgets.
13. Review and approve invoices.
14. Travel as needed.
On-site Monday through Friday
8 : 00 am until 5 : 00 pm with one hour for lunch.
