A local medical device manufacturing company is seeking at Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! Direct hire role paying $30-40 / hr.
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment (Injection Molding Machines, Extruder, Automation Equipment) performing tasks required to build the product
- Research and purchase parts and tools to repair broken equipment
- Interact with production operators and technical staff to fully understand equipment failures and identify and fix root cause.
- Ability to operate hand tools including a multimeter
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on our equipment
- Oversee specific computer programs that control the machines as required
- Plan with Manufacturing Engineering to meet production and schedule requirements.
- Provide production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors and Engineering as required
- Support Start up and shut down of processing equipment if required
- Support in the installation of new equipment as required
- Provide advice or training to other technicians / operators as required
- Working knowledge of electronic, and mechanical assemblies. Able to read and understand Equipment Manuals
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a Production Environment
- Liaison with equipment manufactures to diagnose equipment failures
