About the Team
SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career - from TikTok integrated promotion tools to universal music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation.
SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct market analysis, including TikTok & DSP consumption, supply landscape, competitors, and developing business growth strategies.
- Lead the team to optimize the artist and label discovery methodology and model. Conduct the analysis of target artists, to support BD / A&R team to sign better deals.
- In charge of stream prediction, ROI forecasting, by leveraging the internal models. Work closely with product, data analytics team to improve forecast accuracy, and improve the forecasting playbook.
- Monitor SoundOn regional P&L, review the business progress, to better coordinate with BD / A&R, Label manager, and promo team, to drive business growth.
- Be responsible for monitoring and activation strategies of top accounts and overall user cohorts.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- 5+ years of work experience in technology, music, and entertainment industry
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or relevant business analytics experience
- Well organized and dedicated, able to plan and deliver on tight deadlines and pay outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills and time management skills

- A great teammate and always have a positive and humble attitude.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive in identifying and solving problems
- Passion for music with a deep understanding of TikTok and music trends
- Knowledge of digital music distribution, music industry trends across all genres
