About the Role :

Adlumin, Inc. is seeking a skilled Senior Back End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an experienced team lead background with expertise in Python and Go, AWS cloud services, and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs
• Work closely with frontend developers and product managers to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products
• Lead AWS cloud infrastructure management and optimization, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and cybersecurity
• Team Development : Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and career growth
• Performance Management : Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Conflict Resolution : Address and resolve any conflicts within the team promptly and effectively
• Recruitment and Onboarding : Participate in hiring processes and ensure new team members are properly onboarded
• Goal Setting : Set clear, achievable goals for the team and monitor progress
• Motivation and Engagement : Foster a positive work environment and keep the team motivated
• Communication : Ensure open and transparent communication within the team
• Strategic Planning : Align team objectives with the overall organizational strategy

Position Requirements :

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices is highly desirable
• Familiarity with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• US Work Authorization (Adlumin does not sponsor visas at this time)
• Must be located within the US for consideration
