Job Title : Marketing Communications Specialist

Role Overview :

The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing social media strategies, content, and advertising campaigns to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.

Additionally, they will oversee email marketing efforts, including campaign design and tracking, and manage Google Business Profiles for 26 branches to ensure accurate information and effective customer review engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of digital marketing experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in tools like Sprout Social, Mailchimp, and NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities :

Social Media Marketing & Content Creation :

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to boost brand awareness and engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Create and share engaging social media content, including graphics, videos, and captions, to drive audience interaction and growth.
  • Communicate design concepts and social media strategies to stakeholders, incorporating their feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Enhance and refine multimedia content for various social media channels.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee the marketing content warehouse, ensuring easy access to images, videos, and produced materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Email Marketing & Automation :

  • Design and launch email marketing campaigns using NetSuite, focusing on segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate local email campaigns with branches and territory sales representatives to drive qualified leads for services and products.
  • Design, gather content for, and launch a monthly employee newsletter using Mailchimp, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to engage and motivate the team.

Local Marketing :

  • Manage Google Business Profiles and local directory listings for all Ace locations, including 26 branches across the U.S.
  • Regularly update profiles with accurate information such as addresses, phone numbers, images, and holiday hours.
  • Respond to reviews in coordination with local branch managers.
  • Build relationships with local media contacts to drive website content backlinks and foster local engagement.

Cross-functional Project Management & Communications :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and project completion.
  • Manage swag vendors to design and distribute giveaways for internal and external purposes and oversee inventory and orders.
  • Communicate with external contractors for graphic design projects, defining requirements with internal stakeholders and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience.
  • At least 3 years of cross-functional project experience in marketing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with social media and email marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of B2B social media best practices and the ability to proactively source marketing content.
  • Proven experience in social media planning and engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and , with a preference for experience using Sprout Social or similar software.
  • Knowledge of the importance of Google Business Profiles and online directory listings in local marketing, with a preference for experience using MozLocal, Yext, or similar services.
  • Proven experience in B2B email marketing, including designing and developing email content, customer segmentation, and automation techniques, with a preference for experience using Mailchimp and NetSuite.
