POSITION : External Marketing Position SUPERVISED BY : Marketing and Social Media Strategist This is a part-time flexible position.
This person works very closely with the internal Marketing and Social Media Strategist on external events, internal events, advertising and partnerships.
This position will work outside of Coachlight to help gain new customers. This is a position that will focus on building relationships with individuals, influencers, groups, companies, nonprofit / charity organizations, local media, etc.
to educate them about Coachlight and build a relationship with them to bring in new customers. Overall the eyes, ears, and voice of the Coachlight brand in our demographic.
QUALIFICATIONS : At least 2 years experience in a similar capacity involving direct communications with the public and / or clients High school graduate required with 2 year college or more preferred in marketing Computer / phone / typing experience required Trustworthy and responsible Ability to multitask Very familiar with social media outlets including, but not limited to, posting, messaging, researching, following, etc.
Outgoing and enthusiastic about marketing, building relationships and the aesthetic industry Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills Warm, enthusiastic, and hospitable personal manner Outstanding listening skills and ability to empathize with others Good organizational skills and detail orientation Confidence and experience in dealing with relationships at all levels (entry level to executive) Appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations Ability to convey a positive attitude in all dealing with others RESPONSIBILITIES : Keep us top of mind when in the community, as well as find partnerships, events, and relationships to continue to expand our reach and brand.
When attending events, sponsorships, and building relationships, etc., always have a way to capture lead information such as name, email and phone number.
Have a consistent offer to provide new leads to Coachlight. Know Coachlight inside and out so you can credential the business while building relationships.
Attend community events in the areas where we have Coachlight locations. Stay on top of social media outlets to gather information and gain valuable relationships with influencers, companies and others who would be good partners and or complimentary to our business.
Keep communication with Marketing and Social Media Strategist open at all times. Attend regular meetings and provide regular updates to this person.
Keep this person updated on events, advertising opportunities, partnerships, etc. Maintain relationships with local media and pitch stories and ideas for new segments.
Events - Always look for new and maintaining existing community partners to tie in with all events. Negotiate in-kind sponsorships for events including food vendors, retail, like-minded businesses, etc.
for lunch and learns, skincare for a cause, happy hours, GNO, etc. Influencers Source and grow relationships with influencers for events and social media outreach.
Monthly contact to let them know of specials and upcoming events. Charity work with clients and charities to find ways to engage with their audiences.
Tabling Plan and attend 2 tabling / community events each month. Promote new guest offer. Have collateral available. Goal is to schedule at least 2 events at Coachlight per month.
These would be small groups of 5 to 12 guests. Help with any other larger events that might happen throughout the year. Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of Coachlight Protect the privacy of all clients and handle with discretion any information they may provide to your and the clinic.
Comply with all departmental and company policies including HIPAA and OSHA. Maintain confidentiality of all Coachlight Clinic & Spa proprietary information.
