Sports Medicine Specialists diagnose, treat, and prevent sports-related injuries and conditions, working closely with athletes and active individuals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and diagnose sports injuries through physical examinations and imaging studies.
- Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to athletes' needs.
- Provide guidance on injury prevention, nutrition, and performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate athletes on safe training practices and recovery strategies.
Requirements
- Medical degree with a specialization in Sports Medicine.
- Board certification in Sports Medicine.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for sports and athlete well-being.
