Pipeline Design Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of pipeline systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and project specifications.
This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for gas and utility projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop pipeline layouts and specifications based on project requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare engineering reports for pipeline projects.
- Collaborate with civil and construction teams to ensure designs are implementable and meet safety standards.
- Perform calculations related to flow, pressure, and material selection for pipelines.
- Prepare process diagrams and documentation for project approvals and compliance.
- Manage and coordinate with vendors and contractors during the design and implementation phases.
- Support the development of Front End Engineering Design (FEED) calculations for pipeline systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer with a focus on pipeline systems.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software tools.
- Familiarity with pipeline design codes and regulations.
- Experience in gas pipeline projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of utility infrastructure and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
