Ask about our Retention Incentive after 6 months of employment. The Morris County Sheriff’s office in partnership with the Mental Health Association, Morris County Prevention is Key and their Center for Addiction Recovery, Education and Success (CARES) provides mobile outreach services.
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology counseling or a related field preferred or a minimum of one-year relevant experience working with individuals’ mental health and co-occurring disorders.
Must be comfortable representing the Hope One project and the Organization at various speaking engagements, with the media and with public officials.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours, as needed. Must be a licensed driver in NJ. Responsibilities : Required to provide community linkage while on the Hope One Van ten hours a week.
Provide information, referrals, and immediate linkages to services Assist consumers to provide a continuum of care regarding mental health programs and services.
Assist in scheduled law enforcement and community trainings. Facilitation of access to appropriate services, including transportation to services and activities as necessary and application for and receipt of all applicable public entitlements.
Provide face-to-face contacts focusing on counseling, case management and treatment care sessions Provide consumer support with community services.
Record keeping as required by funding sources, and / or accreditation agencies. Must meet all expected productivity levels, in regards to direct service provision to consumers.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director. Reports to : Director of Self-Help and Advocacy Fully paid medical coverage for eligible staff.
