Job Description :
- Perform assembly operations on structural and mechanical components and subassemblies.
- Install, fit, fasten, align, adjust, and conduct pre-installation assembly work using production and engineering prints.
- Select correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware.
- Report job constraints such as workmanship errors, part defects, assembly procedures, tool issues, and sequence problems as per company procedures.
- Conduct repairs, rework, functional checks, and incorporate authorized changes as directed by Lead.
- Remove and / or replace installed components and related parts.
- Drill close tolerance holes in composites, tool indexing, and gap measurement.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, engineering dispositions, and instructions.
- Ensure safety by using safety glasses, safety harnesses, respirators, boot socks, and other safety equipment.
- Maintain exemplary housekeeping and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards.
- Keep the work area clean, neat, organized, and FOD-free.

Qualifications :
- Aerospace systems experience, including hydraulic, ICS, PECS, duct installation, IFE, interior decorative repair, waste, and potable water systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, engineering dispositions, and instructions.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of relevant programs.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in elevated and confined spaces.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds (occasional lifting of 21-35 pounds), bend and twist at the waist, walk, crawl, crouch, stand, kneel, reach, and climb / balance.
- Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
- Experience in handling, using, and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary training certifications.
Candidates will be required to attend and pass a training class. Failure of training may be cause for assignment termination.
9-10 weeks or more of classroom training initially.
