ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Process Improvement Engineers to join our team in the DMV area .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Give guidance in establishing policies, processes, and programs to enable Section 508 Compliance.
- Provide oversight and governance to ensure compliance with 508 standards.
- Establish priorities to maximize achievement against compliance goals.
- Maintain broad awareness of compliance requirements, processes, and objectives through executive briefings, training programs, and internal communication tools.
- Develop templates to support compliance, reporting, and learning.
- Maintain close awareness of Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) guidance and direction coming from GSA, the U.
S. Access Board, and other federal organizations.
- Assist in establishing policies, processes, and programs to enable IT Accessibility and Section 508 Compliance across the enterprise.
- Provide compliance guidance to support technology planning, design, development, testing, and implementation activities.
- Interpret and provide guidance on Section 508 and related accessibility laws, regulations, and standards.
- Provide guidance and support on the development, procurement, maintenance, and use of accessible IT.
- Lead implementation of new processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 9 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field; or 4 years of additional experience.
- Knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 Standards in support of US Federal projects.
Desired Skills
- Experience with MS Project to develop IT Accessibility project management plans.
- ITIL, Six Sigma, CMMI, and / or ISO certification.
Security Clearance Requirements :
TS / SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Poly.
Physical Requirements :
- Able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier, scanner, and computer printer.
- Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
