A leading global organization is launching a global initiative to implement Oracle HCM, a comprehensive HR technology system, over the course of a two-year project.
They are seeking a motivated HR Technical Assistant to work closely with the project director on a day-to-day basis.
This position will support the project team in ensuring that all tasks, meetings, and action items are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate directly with the director and support the Oracle HCM rollout.
- Prioritize tasks and manage action items in a fast-paced project environment.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and through email, with internal and external teams.
- Stay organized and ensure that all project deadlines, tasks, and meetings are followed up on and tracked properly.
- Work with the project team of 16-20 people on HR technology aspects, coordinating activities as needed.
- Utilize Smartsheets and Microsoft Project for task management and project tracking.
- Ensure smooth coordination between internal PMO teams and external implementation partner (IBM).
Requirements :
- Experience working on project teams, especially in HR technology implementations or technology implementations.
- Strong communication skills (email and verbal).
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with HR technology systems (e.g., ATS, HRIS) is beneficial.
- Experience with Smartsheets and Microsoft Project is preferred.
Work Environment :
The majority of the project team is based in Chicago, and while hybrid work is preferred, remote candidates will be considered if necessary.
