The State Fund Learning Center (SFLC), under the Corporate Learning Department, is looking for a highly motivated, creative, self-directed Staff Services Manager l (SSM I) with exceptional interpersonal skills / EQ and a strong work ethic.

Under the general supervision of the Senior HR Manager, this position shall contribute to the success of Corporate Learning by providing leadership and coaching to cohort participants and / or a team of HR Professionals who are responsible for ensuring the effective performance of administrative, operational, and logistical functions in support of various HR programs / projects / initiatives that directly impact enterprise workforce development.

In this position you will lead various HR programs to support State Fund's workforce development needs. You will play an integral role in managing the Emerging Professional Program, Tuition Assistance Program, training contracts, budget, and other key initiatives / projects under the purview of Corporate Learning.

Preferred candidates will have experience in the following areas / competencies :

  • Strong event / project management experience and proven track record to execute projects with solid timely results
  • Ability to design, plan, and implement policies, procedures, and effective workflow processes
  • Keen ability to act independently with flexibility, tact, poise, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Working knowledge of training disciplines and practices, to include curriculum research, development, and implementation
  • Adept with surveys, data analyses, workload / resource management, and budgets / contracts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Zoom, and other applications / learning tools, technology, and platforms
  • Proven ability to lead, earn staff respect, and inspire trust and confidence
  • Ability to operationalize plans and commitment to continuous improvement of processes (be innovative)

New to state candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of the alternate salary range when applicable.

Placement to alternate salary range may be based on education or experience identified in your state application.
