United Performance Metals (UPM) is looking for its next entry-level team member dedicated to continuous improvement to join our Hamilton, Ohio teams as entry-level Operations Associates.
Supported by O’Neal Industries with 100 years of expertise, this opening will provide you the opportunity to learn what it takes to distribute specialty metals across the globe.

The Production Associate role is an entry-level position where you will be introduced to the unique world of specialty metals and begin working with our Machine Operators to create high-quality parts that are being used to innovate our world.
You will learn how to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and tolerance-measuring equipment. You will also have the opportunity to master the machinery that flattens, slits, and edges our specialty metals.
$1,000 sign-on bonus after 90-days
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Following directions from Operators
- Learning the Machinery to Process Metal
- General Fork truck & Crane Operations & basic material handling
- Assures sufficient supply of goods / inventory control
- Pull material from stock
- Process orders
- Check all specified tolerances
- Package material
- Prepare orders to be shipped
- Housekeeping
Available Shifts :
2nd Shift : Monday - Thursday 3 : 00 pm - 1 : 30 am

You should be proficient in :
- Manual Machining Skills
- Forklift Licensed
- Packaging Experience
- Meets Physical Requirements
- High School / GED
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Shop Math Skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
