WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will stock purchased and manufacturing materials to the assembly line and other stocking locations.

• Monitor material flow
• Perform material replenishments to the assembly line and other stocking locations
• Communicate potential shortages to the shop floor planner and assembly crew leader to minimize stock outages
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be able to secure and retain a forklift license

YOUR EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

• Minimum of two years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is preferred
• Lean implementer certification is preferred
• Good mathematical aptitude
• Competent with MS Excel and Word, and basic computer skills
• Must be flexible to perform a variety of assignments and adapt to changing conditions
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
• Able to make recommendations and effectively participate in the implementation of company policies and procedures
• Ability to work well with others

WORK ENVIRONMENT : Manufacturing / Warehouse

REPORTS TO : Materials Manager

SHIFT TYPE : Monday Friday (5-8s), with the flexibility to work 5-12s and some Saturdays as needed.

WORKPLACE ARRANGEMENT : On-site

SUPERVISES : N / A

SALARY GRADE : 11
