Job Description : Top Secret Required Post Start / % ONSITE

Performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs.

Analysis of end user processes to define application requirements. Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications.

Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance. Identifies and recommends improvements.

Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems.

TOP - MUST HAVE REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ability to work on Windows, Linux, and Solaris computers
• Experience with software programming processes, including but not limited to, version control, block point packaging and releasing, etc.
• Experience with relational database design, PL / SQL scripting and optimization
• Experience in building and deploying Java Applications
• Experience with unit / component / integration testing to ensure high standards before delivery

Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

• Experience with conducting design reviews and guiding developers on the production of effective designs to solve complex problems
• Development and support for Custom CAD utilities to support D Model Based Design and Manufacturing
• Strong skills in C++, Perl, Windows scripting and XML including XML Schema and XML StyleSheets
• Good skills in using Windows and Linux including TShell and Bash
• Experience in dealing with geometry-related applications from PTC : Creo Parametric, Creo Parametric TOOLKIT and Creo View

PROJECT / SKILLS

• Describe the project they will be working on : Part of engineering CAD / PDM Support Team for Missiles and Space groups
• Size of the Team : members but only dedicated programmer
• Type of background you are looking for (education, yrs experience, etc.) : Bachelor's degree with years' experience or + in industry
• Software skills required : C++, Java, Batch scripting, PERL, XML processing, Windows and Linux server scripting
• Any certifications required : Ability to get a Security+ accreditation

Education / Experience :

Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education ( Bachelor) and typically or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience ( PhD+ years' related work experience, Master+ years' related work experience, years' related work experience, etc.).

Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
