Physical Therapist Responsibilities include :
- Providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans
- Enhancing patient mobility
- Improving overall quality of life
- Supervising physical therapy assistants
Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities include :
- Providing direct physical therapy according to directions of a qualified physical therapist
- Aiding patients in therapeutic exercises
- Observing client's progress and response to treatment
- Assisting in preparing clinical notes and progress reports
Qualifications :
- Physical Therapist
- Graduate from a School of Physical Therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the Physical Therapy Association
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- At least two (2) years' experience in an acute hospital or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- At least one (1) years' experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (preferred)
- Must possess current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance
Travel Physical Therapist ($2800-$3499 per week)
