Our offshore wind client is seeking a Site Loadout Coordinator to join their team onsite in Providence, RI. This person will act as the company's project representative at the load-out port, managing the company's work and its contractors while ensuring safe and efficient load-out of offshore wind turbine components.
Responsibilities :
- Promote a high focus on HSE in all phases of the operation and from all contractors
- Plan and coordinate port operations, including management of company equipment on site
- Coordinate and manage interfaces between contractors at the load-out port
- Oversee the planning and execution of the load-out and seafastening (performed by the WTG Installation Contractor, the Feeder Vessel Owner and the Terminal Operator) according to approved method statements and risk assessment
- Coordinate with other construction packages
Requirements :
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry
- Offshore certifications (for boarding vessels, must be obtained at own cost) - GWO, HUET / BOSIET, OGUK Medical Certificate + Chester Step Test
- HSE training
- Must be okay with working a rotational schedule - when on rotation, working 12 hrs / day
