The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Program at Rush University Medical Center , Chicago, is expanding its Behavioral and Cognitive Movement Disorders program.

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join one part-time movement disorder Psychiatrist, two Neuropsychologists ten full-time Movement Disorders specialists, and one physician assistant to support our mission focused on Patient Care, Research and Education.

Applicants should have experience with psychiatric conditions, including depression and anxiety. Additional expertise in neurological disease or movement disorders would be ideal.

Psychiatrists participate in outpatient clinics and contribute to weekly or monthly pre-surgical case conferences for deep brain stimulation and focused ultrasound candidates, as well as all-discipline team consultation meeting for Huntington's disease clinic.

Opportunities for involvement in clinical research, inpatient psychiatry, and supervision of psychiatry residents are also available.

Rush University holds several Centers of Excellence designations and is the longest existing movement disorder program in Chicagoland.

Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience. This position will be predominantly clinically focused, with opportunities for research collaboration and educational initiatives.

Qualified candidates will have an in Psychiatry, be licensed in the State of Illinois and be Board Certified or eligible in Psychiatry.

Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, resident education, clinical medicine and research. Candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level or higher commensurate with their experience and accomplishments in Rush Medical College.
