Job Description
- Perform rounds and readings of equipment.
- Conduct tank sampling and product transfers as needed.
- Execute Preventive Maintenance on all equipment.
- Perform contamination and performance troubleshooting, and participate in QIR investigations as needed.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Comply with all safe chemical handling protocols and best practices.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment.
- Participate in safety audits and inspections as needed.
- Track new material qualifications.
- Collaborate with Facilities and Production Team leaders on issues and projects.
- Report incidents immediately to a supervisor or manager.
Skills Required
- 1-3 years of industrial / manufacturing experience.
- Prior forklift experience is ideal (forklift certification not required).
- Solid understanding of chemical processing systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical processing systems.
- Computer literate in MS Office.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Uncompromising commitment to safety.
- Capable of operating powered-industrial equipment and lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated individual with initiative.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
Education / Training / Certifications
High school diploma
Additional Requirements
Moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, multiple times a day (lifting cylinders).
