What Will You Do?

• You will be responsible for partnering with the Retail Marketing teams in the continuous management of all relevant analytics for all channels, including Email, SMS, Digital, Brand, Social, Promotions, Consumer Finance.
• You will work with some of Ashley Furniture’s largest datasets to measure the impact of initiatives to support our omni-channel strategy.
• You will be responsible for working with technical staff in the delivery of relevant, intuitive, insight-driven information that is directly actionable.
• You will work with teams from around the globe, build strong relationships with business leaders, and help to upskill stakeholders on data literacy topics.

Our team enables cross-department communication through a common data language, revealing the purpose and business value of our analytical assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Work as a key member of the data, analytics, and reporting team, developing a keen understanding of the business to drive insights and data-driven decisions by leveraging the power of data and analytics and being the knowledge owner for customer and market data.
• Providing timely analytics and visualizations including A / B and multi-variate tests, weekly performance reviews, ad hoc analysis, and project-based insights to support business decisions.
• Actively identify strategic opportunities through data and recommend solutions to positively impact the business.
• Work closely with other SMEs to share knowledge, methodologies and facilitate standardization of data usage across the field organization.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and usability of data and develop strategies to improve data quality.
• Utilizes project management techniques for business intelligence projects.

Required Skills, Education and Certifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline or graduate degree
• 2 years of proven experience with marketing research, statistical or business intelligence analytics (or academic equivalent)
• Experience supporting retail marketing teams, specifically market and consumer insights, tracking customer behavior, identifying new marketing opportunities, and measuring the success of marketing campaigns through retail locations, e-commerce, online / offline advertising, brand, and customer experience.
• Firm understanding of systems and database tools, including MS Office, PowerBI, Big Query, SQL, Google Analytics as well as statistical analysis tools (R or Python)
• Expert problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas in terms of the business
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proactive team member with a collaborative mindset
