Your Responsibilities :
As a Survey Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to :
Lead the Way : Take ownership of all aspects of the survey process, from technical tasks to staff management and scheduling.
Diverse Expertise : Utilize your broad knowledge of land surveying, including boundary analysis, topography, GPS, 3D laser scanning, and construction layout services.
Project Coordination : Manage multiple survey projects, including estimating, proposal preparation, and coordination of field crews and office staff.
Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal engineering project managers.
Quality Assurance : Ensure the highest quality of work by conducting quality control reviews, safety checks, and final QC of survey documents.
Continuous Improvement : Commit to ongoing training and development for yourself and our Survey team.
Technical Proficiency : Utilize your proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and surveying equipment like Leica robotic total stations and GPS.
Requirements :
Experience : You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in land surveying, with a track record of managing various survey projects, budgets, schedules, and field staff.
Software Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica LGO / Infinity, and related software is a must.
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Travel : You must be willing to travel within NJ, NY, PA, and adjoining states.
License : Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferences :
Education : While not required, a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree is preferred.
Professional License : Being a Licensed Land Surveyor (PLS) or a Land Surveyor in training (LSIT) is preferred.
Local Experience : Experience with NYC agencies and surveying in the city is a plus.
Software Knowledge : Familiarity with MicroStation and Carlson Survey software is also advantageous.
