Life & Health Insurance Account Manager

Are you passionate about providing exceptional service & expert advice in the life & health insurance sector? Talis Group’s client, a reputable Independent Insurance Agency in Louisville, is seeking to hire a talented, experienced, & licensed Life & Health Insurance Account Manager to join their dynamic team.

This position will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service and support to valued clients.

This is a full-time, direct hire with a salary range of $50-55k plus a full benefits package! The hours are Monday-Friday, 8 : 30-5 (onsite.)

Highlighted Duties :

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the life and health insurance portfolio.
• Provide expert advice on life and health insurance products, tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Proactively manage policy renewals, conduct regular policy reviews, and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities in the life and health insurance market.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients during the claims process, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience - assisting with billing and claims questions.
• Maintain client and policy information accurately in the database.
• Communicate with insurance companies and other 3rd parties regarding policy issues & coverage questions.
• Prepare proposals, spreadsheets, and all additional required documentation.

Highlighted Requirements :

• Valid Kentucky Life & Health Insurance License required.
• 1+ years of experience in life and health insurance account management.
• In-depth knowledge of life and health insurance products, regulations, and industry trends.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in AMS 360 / Vertafore is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
