Position Summary :
Client site seeking experienced planner / scheduler to help support some upcoming projects at our Pasadena, TX facility.
Responsibilities :
Proactive member of project teams and will aid Project Manager, Project Engineer, Technology Supervisor, Site Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, and other teams in planning, aligning and scheduling their respective work scopes and budgets to obtain higher visibility of project progress, and schedules at all times.
Effectively manage project controls team and implement project controls best practices.
Ability develop schedules using latest Primavera scheduling software, MS Project, MS Excel spreadsheet from optimization / study, design and engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning to close-out, construction implementation plan, delay / time analysis, time chainage diagram, coordinate installation program, shutdown and turnaround development schedule, project reports, procedure development, invoicing, Change Management and render training for junior planners.
Develop project schedules for any kind of projects, perform schedule, identify and investigate project schedule variances.
Coordinate and assist Project Management Team in all scheduling reports needed on every project. Monitor, update and evaluate weekly and monthly progress.
Collect and update data and produce progress percentage for weekly and monthly reports.
Qualifications :
Minimum 12 Years’ Experience in the Oil & Gas EPC Projects.
Knowledgeable of planning and scheduling concepts and principles.
Microsoft Power BI, P6 Visualizer, Dashboard & quantity tracker development, Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel.
Experienced in pre-construction, construction, procurement, commissioning, close-out and management experience in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical plants, tank farm, pipe rack, flare and utilities, revamp, rejuvenation and module shutdown, tank concrete foundations.
Knowledgeable of planning and scheduling concepts and principles.
