What You Will Do

The Director of Warehouse will oversee the picking, storage, receiving, distribution and administrative functions of the warehouse, including overseeing the warehouse staff.

This position reports out of the warehouse with travel required as necessary within the region.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, oversee, and execute warehouse operations systems by determining proper product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Supervise, organize, direct, train, and coach the warehouse employees
• Establish, monitor, and manage operational goals.
• Train and manage the warehouse staff to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach performance goals.
• Responsible for administrative tasks including timesheet / payroll management approvals / tasks, hiring / change in status / termination process.
• Review and prepare workflow, staffing and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality, and standards are met.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.

We are searching for a passionate, dedicated Director of Warehouse who is eager to make a significant impact for our stores.

Reporting directly to the COO, as the Director of Warehouse, you will play a crucial role in our Leadership Team, embodying our commitment to excellence in supply chain management and operational efficiency.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience as a warehouse general manager
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Proven success in managing projects with both construction & software implementation
• Proficient knowledge of inventory controls and procedures.
• Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and stand up for prolonged hours
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
• Dependable, follows instructions, and takes initiative to solve problems
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field

Preferred Qualifications :

• 5+ years’ experience as a warehouse general manager
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge in Grocery and or Wellness merchandise buying
• Experience with Microsoft D365 and Catapult
• Proficiency with SCM (Supply Chain Management)
• Forklift Operator's Certificate
• ServSafe Certificate (management of food safety)
