Description
The Daytona Beach Campus is currently seeking an experienced Head Women's Lacrosse Coach to grow and develop the Women's Lacrosse program here at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The Head Coach will actively recruit qualified student-athletes who have an interest in one of the University's academic programs and provide fundamental and advanced instruction of women’s lacrosse techniques and philosophy to student-athletes.
They will administer all facets of the women’s lacrosse program, including :
- Designing and implementing a strategy to recruit qualified student-athletes
- Designing practice plans and conducting practice sessions
- Preparing strategies for competition
- Providing support for the academic progress of student-athletes
- Developing and maintaining effective interactions with students and faculty / staff
- Comply with all NCAA, Sunshine State Conference and ERAU rules and regulations
- Provide leadership in community service and fundraising events for the program
- Fulfill additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required education and qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree and experience coaching lacrosse is required.
- Requires previous participation in and expert knowledge of sport specialty.
- Ability to motivate student-athletes and the capability to teach sport-appropriate skills and strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational ability required. Position requires public relations and fundraising skills.
