REQUIREMENTS :
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures including phone etiquette.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to learn new software as required.
- Basic computer database experience including Excel.
- Ability to multi-task between in person, phone and email communications simultaneously.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Initial class scheduling and communication via phone & email with customers to determine proper swim classes for enrollment.
- Communication with swim instructors to update achieved swim skills in student database.
- Coordinate with parents / customers to transfer students to next level of swim program when ready as well as change current scheduling as needed.
- Account management with regards to makeup lessons, cancellations and re-enrollments.
- Ability to perform multiple roles in the company as needed, including swim instruction based on the Blue Gems curriculum (training provided)
- Lifeguard / CPR certification should be obtained within 60 days of hiring (training provided either -in-house or off-site, cost of the certification will be reimbursed).
- Effectively communicate progress and feedback to students and their parents or guardians, ensure customer satisfaction.
- Processing in-person enrollments.
- Executing transactions of retail goods for sale at the facility.
- Perform various cleaning / maintenance duties according to pre-shift and post-shift checklist.
- Assist with closing and securing the facility.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
