Summary :
The Fuel Operations Supervisor assists the Fuel Operations Manager in overseeing emergency fueling services operations during disaster response efforts.
This role involves supervising the fuel dispensing activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting logistics and distribution processes.
The Fuel Operations Supervisor works closely with the Fuel Operations Manager to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of fuel to meet emergency needs.
This position is part of our Emergency Response Cadre Team within our Emergency Fuel Management Services Division, requiring rapid deployment to disaster events across the United States.

Responsibilities :
- Supervise the daily operations of fuel dispensing and distribution activities.
- Ensure all fuel handling procedures comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Monitor fuel inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the Fuel Operations Manager.
- Lead and coordinate a team of fuel technicians and support staff during disaster response deployments.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on proper fuel handling and safety protocols.
- Assist in planning and executing the logistics of fuel supply chain operations.
- Coordinate the setup and maintenance of fuel dispensing equipment in the field.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of fuel to designated locations.
- Maintain clear communication with the Fuel Operations Manager and other team members regarding operational status and any issues encountered.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on fuel distribution activities and inventory levels.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of experience in fuel handling, logistics, or a related industry.
Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in emergency response or disaster recovery operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fuel dispensing equipment and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in high-pressure situations.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel for rapid deployment.
- Experience in emergency response or disaster recovery operations.
- Certification in hazardous materials handling or related field preferred
- Operating and reliable cell phone.
- Proficient in using portable tablets .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management software.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local government fuel management regulations preferred.
