Rehabilitation Tech - Full Time
Landmark Hospital of Joplin is searching for a Rehabilitation Technician to join our team! This hospital has built a solid reputation for providing the very best patient care and excellent customer service.

Rehab Tech Responsibilities :
- Transporting patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or providing standing support.
- Secures and positions patients into or onto therapy equipment.
- Provides added safety during treatments with the patients and patient's equipment, i.e. IV poles, oxygen tanks, Foley bags, etc.
- Instructs, motivates, safeguards, and assists patients in practicing exercises and functional activities.
- Under the direction of therapy staff, measure vital signs to determine the effects of treatments or for patient evaluations.
- Keeps area, supplies, and equipment organized and disinfected between treatments.
- Participates in patient care tasks such as assisting with passing food trays, toilet hygiene, feeding patients, and transferring patients out of bed.
- May also perform other duties as assigned
Rehab Tech Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant or Rehab Tech certification (preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- 1 year of healthcare experience (hospital-level experience preferred)
- Must be organized, a team player, and detail-oriented
