Department Information
With a current student population of approximately 30,000, Sacramento State, the capital University, is one of the larger campuses in the 23-campus California State University system, the largest system of higher education in the nation.
The Athletic Department at Sacramento State supports 21 NCAA division 1 athletic teams and includes over 450 student athletes competing in the Big Sky, Big West, and the Western Athletic Conference.
